In the past few years our sales have expanded beyond our
locality and we happily offer a mail order service around
the globe.
Postage on items within the UK are charge
at cost and usually sent by Royal Mail Recorded or Special
Delivery. Larger orders are sent via a 3 day service on
a negotiated contract with Business Post.
Postage on items to EU countries are also charged at cost
which is normally slightly greater than for UK packages.
Items over 2kg will need to be negotiated.
Postage on items to non-EU countries (including the USA)
is charged below cost subject to a few exceptions and restrictions.
Packages over 2kg must be negotiated. Items are sent by
Royal Mail and take approximately of 5-7 days by airmail.
We are officially open between 10.30 and 5.00 Thursday to
Sunday (closed on Bank Holiday Mondays). We are, however,
happy to open specially out of these times if a prior appointment
is made. We are also more than happy to receive phone calls
out of hours as this is actually easier than when we are
open!
Biddenden is centrally located in the wealden countryside
and is easily reached from many places of interest: Canterbury,
Dover and the Channel Tunnel all being less than one hour's
drive. Within easy reach of the village are the ancient
Cinque Ports of Rye and Tenterden, with its famous steam
railway. The renowned Sissinghurst Gardens, Leeds Castle
and Biddenden Vineyards are also nearby.
From the North: Leave the M20 at Junction
8, follow signs for Leeds Castle on the B2163. At the crossroads
with the A274 ("The Plough" Public House) turn
left to follow the A274 to Biddenden (via. Headcorn).
From the Channel Tunnel and Ports: Leave
the M20 a Junction 9. Follow the A28 towards Tenterden,
turning onto the A262 to Biddenden.
